The scalable plasma ion composition and electron density (SPICED) model for Earth's inner magnetosphere
James, M.K., Yeoman, T.K., Jones, P., Sandhu, J.K., Goldstein, J.
The SPICED model provides estimates of plasmasphere/plasmatrough electron and ion densities within the Earth's inner magnetosphere for SMR as low as -75 nT. The model was trained using Van Allen Probe measurements of electron densities and relative ion concentrations.

A machine learning approach to classifying MESSENGER FIPS proton spectra
James, M.K., Imber, S.M., Raines, J.M., Yeoman, T.K., Bunce, E.J.
FIPS proton spectra fitted with the κ-distribution function and then classified using modular neural networks.

Field line resonance in the Hermean magnetosphere: Structure and implications for plasma distribution
James, M.K., Imber, S.M., Yeoman, T.K., Bunce, E.J.
Earth-like FLRs found in Mercury's dayside magnetosphere using MESSENGER's magnetometer data.

Interplanetary magnetic field properties and variability near Mercury's orbit
James, M.K., Imber, S.M., Bunce, E.J., Yeoman, T.K., Lockwood, M., Owens, M.J., Slavin, J.A.
Investigation into the characteristics and variablility of the IMF in the vicinity of Mercury using MESSENGER magnetometer data.

Multiradar observations of substorm-driven ULF waves
James, M.K., Yeoman, T.K., Mager, P.N., Klimushkin, D.Yu.
Observations of ULF waves at different relative local times to the onset of a substorm demonstrate that a single substorm can drive waves with a range of characteristic azimuthal scales and frequencies.

A statistical survey of ultralow-frequency wave power and polarization in the Hermean magnetosphere
James, M.K., Bunce, E.J., Yeoman, T.K., Imber, S.M., Korth, H.
A detailed investigation into the ULF wave activity and characteristics in Mercury's magnetosphere using MESSENGER magnetometer data. The study uses the KT14 magnetic field model to map the wave activity both to the planetary surface, and to the magnetic equatorial plane. Polarization analysis of the wave activity suggests that much of the wave activity is driven by the magnetosphere's interation with the solar wind.

The spatio-temporal characteristics of ULF waves driven by substorm injected particles
James, M.K., Yeoman, T.K., Mager, P.N., Klimushkin, D.Yu.
Auroral FUV images used with SuperDARN data to investigate the characteristics of ULF waves driven by substorm injected particle populations.
